Fully functional on my BDP-S390
THIS is the one that worked fine for me. It says "SONY BD RMT-B119A" and is the same exact size as the original. I bought two and they both function perfectly so far. Previously I had tried another "generic" version of this remote control (from another vendor), & it did not work at all - nothing - no button worked, not even "On" & "Off" so I returned it. That other "generic" version is thinner (less wide), the batteries hardly fit (have to be pressed in with a great deal of force) and the remote was as light as paper. I can't recommend the "generic" version, at least if you own a BDP-S390 . . .

Very bright, pure white light - first impressions
I tested mine at 13.8 volts DC (close to typical US running car voltage). Since brightness can be very subjective, I will only say that these are the brightest by far that I've ever seen in this specific category of LED light (12V for replacement car backup, license plate, side marker, not headlights) and the color is a very nice pure white to my eyes (not purplish, not yellowish). Also, you don't have to worry about polarity with these (unlike other similar LED car lights) - they light no matter which way you plug them in. Another plus is that they seem to be rated up to 24V but I have not tried that. This wide range might help give it a longer life at 12V. Considering how bright they are at 13.8V would they be "blinding" at 24V? I don't want to push mine. I have no way to know how long they will last (I just got them) but so far I like them enough to buy more, which I did, in quantity. As with all lamps, they'll probably last longer if they are used as intended & reasonably protected. If they fail too quickly I will post again. Hope this helps.
