Does what ti says
Someone reccomended adding this to the basic Quadlock, as smart phones can be expensive, seems to work, can actually see it moving slightly so obviouisly doing something. As with the rest of the kit, is well made and fits perfectly.

One-Stop Shop For Cases
Now bought two of these, as need a matching second for a second piece of equipment. Solid and well made, simple and logical method of assembly. Enough holes in rear panel (six) for me to install two pairs of speaker terminals and two L + R RCA phono sockets. The two top holes are exacly right size for the type of gold plated phono sockets which include the insulating nylon washers. Please note that in the photo, the knob is not the same as was provided (altho very similar, but the shaft is different), and the mesh top plate is homemade. This is a small tube amplifier whose output transformers are easily accomodated in the rear half of the case. I'm very pleased with the result and it looks like a professionally finished retail item. I next need to work on a matching case for the separate power supply...

Best for audio
Have tried various potentiometers in the past, including some brands reccommended for Hi-Fi, not mentioning any names, even a stepped attenuator once, nothing beats this for audo quality to my ears. It lets the signal through without altering it in any way. Apart from volume level of course. I have put the Cosmos Tocos in all my homemade equipment for some while now, this is the fourth I've bought, for another new project.
