Good design, new condition, highly usable, lightweight, portable VSWR and Relative Field Strength Meter
The meter was delivered as advertised. This is an original-design and manufactured (OEM) RF coupler, made in Japan. The design employs coupled-line theory, and is quality built. This unit was new or like new. The main meter markings are circular. The meter was used initially as a relative field strength meter using two-diode detection. In the VSWR mode, the meter indicates the ratio, relative to the forward power through the RF coupler, using a detector diode and capacitor to create the DC driving current for the meter indication. It works well. (It is not a watt meter.)
