This version of Jane Eyre surpasses all others ! No one comes close to Orson Welles in his portrayal of the long suffering Master of the House!!! A beautiful love story .... another GREAT from the 40-50s era! Not to be missed!!!

Heathcliffe prevails ....
This Love story is STILL as beautiful as when I first watched it 55 years ago!! There is NO OTHER Heathcliffe than Sir Laurence Olivier - nor Kathy than Merle Oberon. All other later productions fade to insignifance against this production of Wuthering Heights !!
