I contacted the seller and he offered to exchange the charger and lead with the one he uses, but he said the lead on that one was damaged as well. I am expected to post it back at my own expense. There was not mention in the add that the charger and lead were damaged.

Totally user friendly.
This is the first new mouse that I've bought for some years, and its design and user friendliness are much better.
