Back room bell rang from push button at front.
A good range from the bell-push. Managed to get two extra bells to work as well although they had slightly different melody choices. Hall, Living room and back bedroom. But all good. A good sized bell doesn't overlap other sockets so these can still be used. The blue light flashes according to the melody selected. It's not strobe brightness but it's okay. To help the hard of hearing it would be even better if the bell could repeat for longer or the light flash for longer once activated - to get this you have to select a longer 'tune' rather than ding-dong.

Broken and cheap plastic
Cheep, thin plastic. Broken (wouldn't switch on even with new batteries) when it arrived.

Ideal replacement for batteries inside children's music playing books. And plenty to spare after prolonged use.
