Hooray, I can use my old sodastream again!
I thought I was going to have to throw away my old Gemini sodastream which I've had for as long as I can remember, as they don't do the old gas cylinders anymore. New machines are so expensive and mine is working just fine...so I looked around to see if there was anywhere I could still get my old style cylinders re-gassed.
I could not be more thrilled....I sent off two, got a lovely email saying I would be refunded the discount for two, they re-gassed cylinders were back with me in just a few days and I'm drinking my homemade elderflower cordial with fizzy water again!
Marvellous service which I will use whenever I need more gas.

Essential if you don't want maggoty apples
My usual supplier had run out, so I searched on line. Glad I was able to use the codling moth deterrent. Nothing worse than biting into an apple and finding half a maggot!

So easy to fit...why call out a plumber?
After getting an exhorbitant quote for a call out, I decided to dismantle the toilet cistern and see what was wrong. I took out the old valve, looked at the picture of the replacement and thought it worth the money to try it an see if it worked.
It was here in good time, easy to ft and guess what, I can now add plumber to my CV!
