About
Interested in anything on 4 wheels or more that travels on land, but my main interest is railways, and I have been into model railways both building and collecting, for 40+ years. Still haven't got a layout finished, the theme is a fictitious location in Northern England in the 1950's/60's, predominantly steam with some black and green diesels.
But I believe in the saying "it's my layout, and I will run what I like" !

Poor assembly quality.
Model looks good, and runs good, but the assembly quality is poor. There were bits missing that I had to source and fit myself, and the parts of the body were loosely assembled and not fitted correctly. For example there was a gap between the firebox and the footplate. Not one of Hornby's best in terms of final assembly. It's Ok if you can fix it yourself, but why should you when paying out that amount of money? Not value for money in my opinion.

Title is descriptive, you know what you are getting.
A typical collection of Thomas stories, just a pity they are not told by Ringo starr as were the original ones for TV.
Very enjoyable and easy watching though the signature tune does get a bit boring as it is played before and after every story.
I bought this for my new grandson (that's my excuse anyway) as part of the brainwashing process to get him into trains, though at 10 weeks old he might not fully appreciate it yet !
