good DIYer fastener-need a router though for flush install.
great little fastener for the DIYer. nice clean looking post install when you're done with no long drill holes to worry about going off-centre (i do not own a drill press) and or holes to plug after. do need a router and a steady hand on the router to make the plate sit flush and level-other than that, i put three in quite easily after a 'practice round' on some sacrificial wood.
more money that than the tradition cinch bolt set up buy worth it for me.
