Good Unit but not great.
9 of 9 found this helpful This is a very good unit, easy to hook up and use. The upscale feature makes a very noticable difference in the picture. The only reason I didn't give it an excellent rating is due to the fact that it will not record some TV movies that are copy protected and it will not record some VHS movies either. One thing that I think is a problem is that when dubbing VHS to DVD it will start recording but after it is well into the movie a message comes up saying it cannot record copy protected movies. This is a bummer because it ruins the blank DVD before you find out it won't record it. This is not a problem for copy protected TV programs, as it tells you before it starts recording. All in all in is a very good unit..
