Simple, proven, and to the point. You can really beat most paid advisors by investing in only a few of the the most basic total market and bond index funds since about 75% of managed funds never consistently beat the S&P 500.
It is all explained here, with good advice for others aspects of your financial life as well.

Bright light beam has a broad pattern
After borrowing one of these LED lights for night snorkeling I bought two, one for me and one for whoever is my night dive buddy. They feel rugged, fit well in my hand and come with a strap that allows you to fasten the light to your mask strap. This is helpful for hands free use, but I normally hold the light in my hand while swimming. The bright light beam has a broad pattern, not a spot light, but more like a flood light which is better for my diving in clear water.
I like these much more than the larger pistol grip lights since they are so small and fit easily into the pocket on a BC.
They also work great on dry land.
