Diablo tuner information
8 of 10 found this helpful The diablo tuner is great, that is if you know how to log and record a virety of parameters, sensors, values etc. To properly modify and install your own custom tunes, you need to be able to log different data from your vehicle and have the knowledge of what WOT is. Or COT, spark advance, axle ratios, upshift mph, upshift mph vs to, etc. For a gearhead or someone with extensive knowledge of vehicles this doesn't really create any issue. But for the daily driver who just wants to get a little more out of there car, it's quite different. Diablo sends a manual with the trinity tuner. But it's vague as far as ZERO explanation to the parameters you can modify or what each of them does in your vehicle as well as what each adjustment will do when you adjust right or adjust left. So if you know your cars. Great. Most likely love the T1000. If you don't know cars well. Then you can plan on paying 150-300 more to have a custom tune made for you. And if you don't like the tune, then 150-300 more to have a different one made and so on. For this I rate right in the middle at 3 stars. Diablo website doesn't even give a breakdown of adjustments and effects. Hope this helps with your decision.
