Amazingly smooth feel good album!
If you like the Dixie Chicks you'll love it and if you're not really sure about the Chicks, I think this will be the decider~I love it!
The vocals are earthier than earlier albums and I think this is the first real heart-felt album they've done, but it's still great for a bit of easy listening too and whilst they leave behind a complete country sound and go abit more folky-rock, this seems to be their niche, so they carry it off brilliantly.
My favourite track is Home, but I love the sound of Truth No2!

Jig-Tastic CountryMusic for the CountryMusic Shy
I do think the Dixie Chicks are brilliant and I'm not a fan of true country music; I just love their vibrance and passion that shows in their music.
This album has the typical country sound but is easier on the ear for us folks who are a bit CountryMusic shy. I think its a British thing, not being able to completely relate to the banjo bashing sound, but if you're ok with soft rock and folk music I think you'll be charmed by the Chicks :-)
My favourite tracks have GOT to be Goodbye Earl and also Ready To Run.

Just Love It!
Having seen few on telly and was impressed, I decided to indulge in the whole of series one dvd set. I really, really like it. They are easy to watch, well thought out stories, that even make me well up now and again. For value they are good, as there is alot of episodes which I believe are each about 40 mins long. I would say the only down side is, when you have the DVDs it is easy to sit and watch maybe 3 or 4 in a row, then they can occasionlly seem abit 'the samish' as i like to put it.
But would definately recommend to someone who enjoys this genre!
