Why I bought the Nady RSM-2
I bought this mike because of its low price and the fact that it looks like a '40s ribbon mike. By itself, if you aren't too demanding, it makes a good vocal mike especially if you want that retro look and can't afford a RCA-77 which sells for $1,500-2,500. I am demanding so I had it modified with a new ribbon and transformer. Now it sounds like an RCA ribbon. So for the $150 for the mike and another $175 for the mod, I have a professional mike - you can't beat that!
