Very good for the price
1 of 1 found this helpful The light is fairly plainly styled, but is quite acceptable and adequately robust, remembering it is likely to be in a safe position above a mirror.
An electrician would install this very quickly, but a DIY-er would have only the usual difficulties which plague them - rawlplugs messing up the plasterboard, mains cable not long enough to re-site the unit etc.
The method of clipping the front cover on to the unit is rather reliant on flexing the plastic, and a CLEAR diagram would stop you worrying that it is about to snap.
Overall, a very good buy.

Good value. Strong. Efficient adjustment wheel. On the metal version of the same product, better tuning accuracy is possible.
It's strong and it looks as good as the metal-built version which I also own, but is nearly twice the price. The adjusting wheel is worth the few seconds it takes to adjust, because you can avoid the excessive pressure which sprung capos rely on, and which sharpen the different gauges of strings inconsistently on the higher frets.
This plastic version seems to have slightly less forgiving rubber and a smaller radius than the metal one, so that there was too much pressure on the 2 thinnest gauge strings. Slackening the wheel didn't help, and in the end, I (carefully) sanded the rubber down near the end furthest from the wheel until the radius of the curve was less, and the pressure was more even across the strings.
You may not want that kind of hassle, but in my experience, capos always need care when putting them on, and any slight improvement is welcome. Why don't they come with some practical tips to help less experienced players get acceptable results?
I still think this a good-value capo, but I do feel it could easily be made into a better product.

A good introduction to Classical Guitar
I used the old version of this book (Bk 1 of 2) when I began 40 years ago. If you work patiently through both books in the course, and I have bought the new version for use with pupils. it gives an excellent foundation for beginning work on albums of guitar pieces by the masters.
