this genius was never about being catchy
as far as memory serves the original title of the title track of this masterpiece was : TO THE LIQUID UNKNOWN-not very catchy , right ? HEARTS AND BONES is not very catchy to . but when it comes to PAUL SIMON ...well ...this genius was never about being catchy . he was always about going deeper . a song about assasainations (The Late Great Johnny Ace) and another about a surealist painter ( René And Georgette Magritte With Their Dog After The War) . deep subjects and dealing with them (Think Too Much)
Simon had made a long journey from the folk scene of the 1960's to 1983 but was he ever a folk singer ?
ask yourself when you check out his chords , his guitar picking style . find out the mystery and the infinite musicality in each song and you won't regret it !!!

Roxy Music's Heart is Still Beating hard on vinyl .
this double vinyl definitley compensates for the lack of effort when it comes to the dvd version . beyond that , even if there will be a remaster of the dvd , the double vinyl lives up to its title . Roxy Music's Heart is Still Beating on vinyl .

rock at its best / vinyl at its best !!!

i own the dvd version of this amazing concert .
as soon as i had discovered about the vinyl version , as an audiophile , i knew i must have this gem .
i wasn't disappointed .
Big Country always sounded better live than in the studio . Steve Lillywhite did a fine job in the studio albums but still the group members had always proved themselves more on stage .
this version is a must have
the price is more than fair
