sublime, emotive, radical, spiritual....
It's the 50th anniversary this year (2021) since the very sad loss of an incredibly talented and innovative musician... Jimi Hendrix. The album "The Cry of Love" was the posthumous release in 1971 featuring tracks that he had been working on (with various other musicians) shortly before his untimely death at the age of 27. Listening to it, and many of his previous recordings, makes me wonder quite what phenomenal musical heights he would have achieved had he lived longer....

Surviving in an unimaginably scary situation! WHERE IS MY REVIEW/ DONT ASK ME FOR MORE AS I WILL NOT WRITE THEM TO THEN NOT BE USED BY YOU!!
"Colony" Season 1 is the beginning of a complex sci-fi story involving very 'human' characters - with all of their conflicting emotions and priorities - trapped in horrendous circumstances. To say i found it gripping and thought-provoking, not least regarding what it is that defines our humanity, would be something of an understatement. To my mind, a great loss that it was cancelled after 3 seasons - nonetheless having watched Season 2 now, i am eagerly awaiting the opportunity to see the final series. Highly recommended.

Brilliant characters, this is a very astute and perceptive satire on the British political set up and class system - and very funny too!
This is the 154 minutes uncut version of the film, (same as the Criterion Collection version) - rather than the inferior 124 minutes version. The sound and picture quality are both very good.
