In My Hands
1 of 1 found this helpful I've read several memoirs of the Holocaust recently and this was one of my favorites because it is so inspiring; it very clearly demonstrates how powerful our acts as individuals are. Irene is able to bring the reader into the story, without giving a dry recital of historical facts. Through her eyes, we see repeated examples of how one person acting selflessly can have a great impact on the lives of others. This was such a good read that I lent it to my daughter. She loved it too.
