Not a SSD!
This is a 'hybrid', combining a small SSD with a normal hard drive. Not much performance improvement.

GREAT product! Looks Good, spoilt by Microsoft 8.1
This is still (released June 2015). a great product by a premium PC builder, with good support.
The i7 is not the latest, or fastest, but very stable and cool. 5+ hour battery makes for a long-term use travelling, and the screen is little short of beautiful.
However, when included with Windows 8.1, the whole experience is deadly dull! Get rid, and install a proper OS, Win 7 is a great choice, but even Linux would be preferable.
It's tricky without a mouse (no 'çlick' keys on the keyboard), but the touch screen 'almost' makes up for the omission..
Go INSTANTLY to HP 'support'', which will auto-install essential driver updates, and the essential ''Ássistant'.
Fantastic deals to be had today (Late 2016), on this product, and years of use to be had from this superb platform.
Highly recommended, a thoroughly professional device (with Win 7).
PS. you will need to change a couple of details on the BIOS to install Win 7, but it's worth it. Forget Win 10, it's due for the dustbin, trust me!

Swap an SSD
If you're running a laptop (any), with an óld fashioned' hard disk, you will be amazed at the rapid boot-up time with a solid state drive! Even replace your clunky Hard-drive in your desktop system.
You need to clone your op sys before you install new HD (clonezilla). Great upgrade, easy to perform.
