Really good with only one niggle.
I bought Obscure a couple of weeks ago after going through both a survival horror phase and an offline 2 player game phase. Can you imagine my joy when I discovered a rare survival horror game called Obscure and that it was based around 2 player game play? Excellent! I wanted the 2 player ability for me and my boyfriend, as avid gamers, to be able to play together. We wanted something to play in the dark, work together on and get a little creeped out with and make us jump a little. Obscure does deliver, it does. Its graphics are quite good; not breathtaking but not awful - it's a quite old PS2 game, after all. You can pick from 5 characters (3 to start off with), all with different special talents that they bring to the gameplay. Me and my boyfriend enjoy playing Obscure and working together, the graphics, sound effects and gameplay are also good. The only thing I could possibly niggle at is the controls - it is quite difficult to get a hang of it at first. It's not basic controls that are hard to grasp like walking or aiming and firing, it's combining weapons and items and scrolling through them. You have to press L1 to bring up a small bar at the bottom left hand corner which displays your items. Whilst holding L1 still you have to scroll down them using the left analog stick, then select which one using X. Then select the action you want to activate using X again. To combine items (like sticking a torch to a gun to enable you to see easier) you have to do this sequence, then press R1 to open the bar with your weapons in on the bottom right hand corner. Then select the weapon and action using X again; finally your item/weapon is combined. Confusing? It's not so bad learning hands on with the game but it is still a teensy bit frustrating. All in all, it's a really good game that is worth buying for obscure (excuse the pun) survival horror fans and the 2 player ability to enjoy with a friend or partner.

Beautifully informative and colourful.
This book, Gothic & Lolita, is all about Japanese street fashion today in Japan, mostly Gothic & Lolita as the title suggests. The book is huge and packed full of glossy, full page photographs of all kinds of people wearing beautiful and unusual outfits - some are obviously coming out of clubs and gigs at night, some are shopping, some are going their day to day business - all beautiful, unique and amazing. There are a few photos that aren't considers "Gothic" or "Lolita" and are more Decora and FRUiTS but who cares? If you're truly into alternative/Japanese street fashion you will appreciate all the different styles and looks. I bought this book as it has been on my wishlist of fashion books and managed to get it cheap. I have not been disappointed and even though, over the course of a few nightly sessions, have finished looking at all the gorgeous outfits and reading the info (where they got the clothes, their point of fashion and current obsession) I know I'll continue to look over it for many years to come as I have done with my Gothic & Lolita Bibles.

Great update to iPhone 4S
I bought this phone to replace my trusty iPhone 4S that served me well for 3 years, and was secondhand before I owned it! My iPhone 4S was getting a bit slow, some of the button connections were going, the battery life was going and I was afraid to update it to the next iOS updates as I heard they are not made to be displayed on an iPhone 4S and it makes the phone slow, which meant I couldn't download some of the latest apps as they needed iOS 8. I treated myself to an update and have never looked back! The iPhone 5S is fast, has great battery life, can be updated to the most recent iOS updates, have the newest apps and there are a lot more accessories and cases available for the 5S than 4S. I am not one of these people who need the latest iPhone so I hope this serves me well as long as possible and I would recommend getting a slightly newer iPhone to anyone who has an iPhone 4/4S.
