Disappointed
1 of 2 found this helpful I bought and built one of these many years ago, and still in my display cabinet. Recently I disassembled the model to give it a good clean. I was horrified to find that the black plastic parts of the steering system had melted, making it useless. I have come accross this phenomenon before involving black plastic. Surely black plastic should be more durable? I will contact Tamiya and ask them for a solution.

Expensive plastic.
I expected metal tramrails. They do not clip together, only suitable for a static display.

Disappointed
I thought this model was overpriced and the instructions were not clear enough. But my biggest gripe was that I had to provide most of the card required to complete the model. Not good enough, and will not buy again.
