Very Poor Quality Hobbed Gear
This product (hobb for reprap printers) is manufactured with very poor quality control.
The bore of the hobb should be a snug fit over the stepper motor 5mm dia shaft, but it is not, because the bore size of the hobb is 5.2mm dia.
So a very loose sloppy fit causing the hob to wobble instead of ruunnig true to the motor shaft axis.
The teeth on the hob are roll formed (like threads on commercial bolts) and therefore are not sharp but rather blunt and so do not grip the fillament very well causing slipage.
I am an engineer and so know what I am talking about.
This product is cheap but its rubbish, do not waste your time or money.

Weho S-400-24 DC output power supply
Have used this power supply on two of my 3D printers and am very happy with them. The cooling fan is thermally controlled (which means its very QUIET).
Have purchased other cheaper power supplies in the past, they work no problem there, but I found the fans are very noisy due to vibration (blades out of balance etc) and the bearings do not last long before they also become noisy.
I would recommend this power supply to anyone who is particular / discriminating.
The only criticism I have with this power supply is that a plastic cover is not supplied to cover the power terminals (as most other power supplies come with a cover), the 240 volt or 110 volt exposed terminals can be dangerous. Not a problem if you have a 3D printer you can print one.
Regards.
