Not identical but every bit as good
Perfect fit and works very well. Much less expensive then the OEM

Should have bought one years ago
I have had Sony Hi8 cameras for years. Have always used the smaller batteries. Even at their best they don't last long enough. Although it takes some getting used to,because of it's size and weight, this NP-F970 lasts forever. It is well worth the trade off. Probably a little early to write this review, cause I have only had the battery for a short time. I did some recording over the weekend for about an hour and a half, and it still shows a 7/8 charge. This battery elsewhere is more than double what I paid for it. Thank you ebay!
