I love my Roomba 550
We love our Roomba, nicknamed Robbie in our family. I love the scheduling feature so that I can set it (very easy to set- like setting an alarm clock)and come home to a vacuumed house. Its like having a maid to see the vacuum lines on your carpet and not having done it!
It does a great job picking up crumbs and even fine dust. It does a smooth job transitioning from carpet to tile. After having Robbie (our roomba) vacuum for the first 7 days straight we had a significant difference in the amount he found to pick up. It even made my older carpet fluffier..it actually feels better to walk on!
The cleaning of the brushes are easy and again we have found its not necessary to do everyday after his initial week of cleaning. We clean the brushes about every 3 days and just dump the bin every day.
My two favorite features are the scheduling ability and the redocking of itself to charge at the end of its cleaning cycle. I would recommend anyone thinking of this for their house to spend the little bit more and get those features.
Overall we are thrilled over our purchase and would give the Roomba a 5 star recommendation to anyone! Ebay was a great place to find it at a great price.
