Better for Books than a Flatbed
2 of 3 found this helpful Pleasantly surprised by this product. Wanted something to scan a few old books without spoiling them by pressing the spine flat, and this has done the job. No problem to install. Quite quick - scanner controlled by buttons without having to use mouse or keyboard - software inverts alternate pages and creates one PDF file automatically. Book does not have to be opened wider than 90 degrees. OK, it doesn't scan quite to the edge (about 5mm), but for the price, compared with specialist book scanners? Have now scanned over 3000 pages and had no problems.

Very Handy Container
This is a very useful container, supplied unused and clean, with a well fitting airtight lid. Used for a workshop dust extractor, but could have many home, garden, greenhouse uses for storage of food, beer, water, fertiliser, animal food, whatever. The plastic is rigid, but can be easily cut or drilled with ordinary woodwork tools to fit taps, handles, filters, pipes, you name it.

Good product.
Haven't used it much yet, but it seems well made and up to the job. This sort of product would be better reveiwed after a couple of years' use, but it seems OK and no reason to think there'll be a problem!
