Simple Hand Held GPS
Having owned an original Etrex 10 for some 15 years, I was keen to compare it to my new replacement. What a difference 15 years makes. Aside from having to relearn how to operate the new device, all else was fantastic. Better satellite tracking with two sets available now, easier buttons to handle and a whole new set of menus and options.
Pros - simple, cheap, easy to use, accurate, reliable
Cons - no maps (not even with the 'cheats' you read about - why bother anyway with a mono small screen?), no entirely intuitive screens and options (you have to play with it a little to learn what's there)
I'd buy another any day and just hope my new device lasts the 15 years the last one did!
