Unit is a multi function throttle. It can be challenging to learn, but like all things, time and patience will lead to a greater enjoyment of your locomotives. Especially with the newer locomotive models with multi functioning lights and sounds, this throttle is great running on a digitrax layout. I have been able to us this throttle on multiple club track layouts with no issues.
