fast and affordable
bios configuration is revamped since the z87 and is laid out better. You have a simple BIOS mode and an advanced mode still but the 'simple mode' is much more simple and the advanced mode is optional for those who know what they're doing and want to configure it. You cant configure the UEFI settings or the overclock settings or the individual ports in the simple layout but its so easy to switch to advanced compared to the z87 which has the same settings in simple and advanced just a different interface layout.
