As good as known brands
Used it a couple of times since receiving it. When you look at the quality, you wonder why you would spend more just for the name!

Don't buy lower priced products
Had tried a lower priced product but it failed also didn't have enough length of pipe, so had to buy longer tubing. This had all adaptors and connects easily to extend length to fit perfectly

Great value STB
Have been wanting one for ages. I had an old Freesat box some years ago, but it broke so I had been using a Sky box for freesat. The annoyance was the gaps in the epg and also channel list. When Sky updated all the channels that were close to one another were spread, and + channels relocated. So I had wanted a Humax box, 1 because I had heard it was one of the best products and 2, the EPG is superior to other manufacturers. A big factor was initially the price, but found one second hand off eBay and it came quickly and was the right price. A good thing with the HB-1100s is the Smart Features, Catchup and also attach an external USB Harddrive and it works as a Recorder. I thing you can use a 2TB external drive, but don't quote me. It is simple to setup and EPG is well laid out as well as the function to set reminders, record series etc.
