Stick with it. It does work!
Arrived very quickly. Instructions are poor (no diagrams at all) And I am surprised that you have to screw down the battery case cover. Surely this could be made to clip in...
Those gripes apart it works well. The thing is, it does need adjusting, so it might not work well straight 'out of the box'. Stick with it and you'll get there. I was tempted at one point to bundle it back up and ask for a refund. But pick a nice afternoon and just tinker with it, and it WILL work.
The trick is to have good seals on your external tap, otherwise you'll be losing water all through the night, (that's when ours is on). The PIR sensor has a good long range. So much so that we could easily, if not careful, drench passers-by from our drive way, (as that's where it is stationed). So do play around with water pressure, sensor range, positioning etc. And be prepared to get a little wet when testing it.
