Banana plugs
It is not bad for its price but the screws are too short. meaning you need a thick wire for a tight fit.

Beautiful tonal balance. It cover the mids satisfactorily; it is not shy of bass, and not imposing of it either.
I previously owned the Sennheiser HD600. I lost them quite a few years ago; I could not tell you which was better, but this pair certainly satisfies me. I do not feel I have stepped backwards at all. If anything, it seems to offer improved bass extension over the HD600's. Again, it is articulate bass, not boom. This is a very subjective statement, however, as it has been a few years since I last heard the HD600's.
Only, it costs significantly less than Sennheiser. The availability of Sennheiser's spares in SA - and the price thereof - left a bitter taste in my mouth. You want to know that spares will be available at a reasonable price, especially when you're planning to keep something for a long time.
This meets (exceeds, actually) reference quality standards. I am very happy with it and intend to use it for years to come.
