One of the best shows on TV
Game of Thrones Season 5 is a real can't leave alone, take your eyes off the screen production. The story just gets better and better as you go through each episode.
Sadly though with this particular DVD boxset the opposite is true for picture quality, with each disk it goes from perfectly good to low quality heavily compressed mp4/avi picture quality, almost akin to what VHS was like back in the day. Perhaps the price paid reflects this quality.
The picture quality provided by this box set reminds me very much of the results I've seen of pirated dual layer DVD's ripped and then compressed to fit on a single layer disk on sale in Asia. i.e. lots of pixilation and blocking artifacts. I hope its a genuine box set, just very poorly mastered and produced.

Record Revirginizer - if only it did
1 of 1 found this helpful OK suffering from the usual clicks and pops on vinyl and having tried in the past various record cleaning methods including:
L'art du son
Wood glue
Professional record cleaning machine service from local HiFi store.
Knosti record cleaning machine and supplied fluid.
None of the above have really been particulary effective. The worst without doubt wood glue - generates huge static charge when you peal the film off. The Knosti which creates surface scratches thanks to its brushes when you insert in 180gr vinyl.
So, the record revirginizer whats it like ?
OK. its identical to the wood glue theory of cleaning vinyl in that you spread a good dollop over one side and work it in with your fingers. Then leave the side to dry for at least 6 hours. Once dry peel the film off. Unlike the wood glue method it doesn't generate a huge static charge, in fact none is generated so clearly its purpose designed for cleaning records. Now its time to repeat on the other side. Once both sides done you are now ready to play record. Unfortunately some annoying clicks and pops still remain...
