The MostUnderrated Best Rock Album Of All Ttime
I have been a fan of The Pretty Things since the sixties, I first bought Parachute when it was first released in 1970, when that went missing I bought another.
The group released a remastered CD version with bonus tracks in 2000 which I bought, so when the 40th Anniverary Edition came out I just had to get it mainly for the seven re-recorded acoustic tracks and superb book style presentation.
This collection of music is one of the best rock albums of all time, there are no filler tracks everyone a classic even the bonus non album A&B side singles.
I wont give you a track by track review because the Album is perfect (It sits somewhere between Abbey Road and Dark Side Of The Moon), in fact I am quite envious of someone getting listen to Parachute for the first time and the pleasure they are about to get.
