Simply brilliant
As I spend a lot of my time photographing architecture being level is a priority.
Sticking one of these into the hotshoe on top of the camera was an experiment that I thought would never work, wouldn't be robust enough or would simply get lost.
Six months later with thousands of captured images it was suffereing a bit from catching the edge of the camera bag but it had become totally indespensible, so much so that I bought a pack of 5, equipped all of my cameras with one and had a couple of spares.
This is one tiny item that I really do not know how I managed without.

Seriously impressd
It took me a while to find this levelling base because I wanted the larger tripod thread on both top and bottom and for some reason lots of manufacturers seem to think the smaller camera thread on top is a good idea. It needed to go between the tripod base and the video head.
So that was my first concern, my next was buying something unseen from such a great distance without seeing the quality.
When it arrived it was immediately apparent from the finish that I was going to love it, it is simply excellent, well put together and works like a dream, saved me the considerable expense of a ball cup tripod and its turned out to be far simpler to use than one of those as well, double bonus.
I still have my same familiar tripod and head but now I can level it out in seconds. Fantastic.
