Gasket punches
Look to be good value but I wonder how long they will remain sharp?

1 of 1 found this helpful Arrived very quick-quite aheavy package but managed ok..Plugged in started to split and it performed very well only one log failed to split due to excess diameter,
I have now split nearly a cord of quite difficult resinous pine with no splitting problems.
There is a problem however with the stand which needs attention. the four bolts holding the stand to the frame have been put in backwards so you cannot see the bolt heads but just the dome of the nut. As there is some vibration on continuous use these bolts became loose (no locking washers used) in this state it is very difficult to know if on being moved wether the weld which is backing up these bolts will fail as the stand drags on the ground until you get the hang of using the wheels. This resulted in the web weld where the legs meet the from failing and the leg falling off. On inspection the weld was of poor quality and would have broken any way! As this weld cannot be seen easily the factory must be careful to inspect it and check that it is a good one and not put the attachment bolts so the nuts cannot be seen and checked too.
However it is a simple job to re-weld this item if you have a breakage and all in all the splitter is an excellent one for the money,
One major design fault (IMO) is the restriction on the length of log (30cms) and the fact that the double cut option is a poor one as it reduces considerably the already poor cut length.
If this length was improved I would certainly use another one with no hesitation
