great machine
I have owed quite a few SLA printers and have used many others, including really expensive professional machines. The CTC SLA+ is the best SLA 3d printer for the price! It's very easy to use and simple to setup and just start printing. Just load up your file and press print. I use it for jewelry prototyping, testing out designs, and production of jewelry. The print quality of the ctc sla is unmatched by any other printer in the same price range. The amount of detail possible is astonishing. Especially when compared to FDM printers. Another huge plus is the excellent support offered by ctc and the community. With the addition of new printing resins, such as the castable resin and the flexible resin, the ctc sla is the 3d printer to get right now.

0 of 1 found this helpful In my opinion there is no such thing as a "silver bullet" perfect solution in the 3D Printing world. It is an inherently complex process, and each technology and product has its own advantages and disadvantages. Having said that, I think CTC has really hit a sweet spot for ease of use, surface quality, speed, and reliability with the CTC SLA. It has been, and continues to be, the printer to beat.

Good product
I work in the toy industry and my clients are still surprised by how clean and detailed the parts are that come off of this machine.
there is a bit of a learning curve but its worth it to have parts come off of a desk top machine with almost no build lines and such fine detail.
