You get what you pay for.
I have used my BC850 tuner for a dozen years without a problem and I think it cost about £10, but the clip-on I bought for my grand daughter failed after its initial use. I was not present so I cannot give a details nor comment on any misuse it received.

easy-peasy
Not only was this cheap , but it works beautifully. The spiked holder means there is no danger when in use and you can reduce a potato to thin slices within seconds. You have to be very careful when washing and I use a brush.

If you want o make marionettes with your grand daughters then this is the stuff.
