Bulky but great picture quality
Big old fashioned CRT monitor - BUT much clearer resolution than the flat screens I've recently been using. Great for a backroom or bedroom/study where its out of sight.

Lila compared to Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance.
Of his only 2 books I believe the author thought Lila should be regarded as his definitive work. It's in the same vein as Zen and the Art of Motorcycle maintenance but it's slow, ponderous and more self indulgent. Zen carried you along the physical and philosophical journey in anticipation of the next page or chapter. Lila is worth reading (and thinking about) but not as good.

Recommended. Excellent.
This book was recommended in other publications. Quite rightly too. Simple (not overly) without being patronising and with" depth when required". Numerous useful maps to compliment and explain the history. It would be a bargain at double the price.
