You could use washing up liquid or shampoo, but this will prevent yellowing after storage of dry wool - others won’t . Should make industrial size
1 of 1 found this helpful Done this business since 10 plus years- tried all sorts. Then found Aussie Know How. Never use anything else, now.Except on fragile wool use a different type.
All other detergents leave nasty residue In wool you can’t wash out which then deteriorates in time to either make white or lighter wools yellow, or to make them crumble(so to speak).
Aussies use it and they know what they are doing. !

Arrived only just - falling out of a battered poorly constructed envelope. So lucky our postman knows that it would be me. Who wanted it!
As above. Not returning. Test strips already exposed to climate therefore pretty useless
