easy to install
They worked great for the job they have to do. they are used to hold folding sawhorses in the open and closed position.

Garmin GPS 76 Receiver
I purchased this item because it had aids to navigation installed in it.
I have used it on a boat on safety patrols along with a fixed unit installed in the same boat. both units concur with each other, so I believe it is accurate.
The only disappointing thing with it is that it dose not show the shoreline. I know that is available with more expensive units, which are not what I can afford.
I have not been able to find out in the owners manual how to change miles per hour to knots per hour. I don't believe it can be done with this unit, so the speed between the built in one on the patrol boat and mine is different, not a bad thing and I do not consider it a problem.
I have a Garmin 72 that I purchased quite a few years ago when we were on vacation in St. Petersburg Florida. That purchase is what got me to purchase the "76", with the A/N in it.
I am not a navigation guru, and need something that is simple to operate. After all the years I have owned the 72, I still have not used all the features, and I do not think I will be able to learn how to do all the things that the 76 can do.
I would recommend Garmin units to anybody looking to buy a portable GPS.

works great just like a new drill. my other 6347D only has low speed on the transmission.
