CD/DVD lightweight plastic wallets
A useful item. Protects discs from dust and scratches but not robust enough to safeguard against knocks. Can only be used for more permanent storage of discs if discs are to be stacked in boxes specifically designed for CD or DVD storage. They have the advantage over the usual hard plastic jewel cases in that they occupy far less room so greater numbers can be stored in a box. Information slips can also be inserted for identification purposes.
To sum up cheap, useful, handy and easily disposable - not too anti environment-friendly

Panasonic dvd-ram
I have used these discs for many years and found them ideal . They are more reliable than dvd-r and dvd-rw discs which can create failure rates of up to 5%. I have not had a single failure with dvd-rams of any brand and the the thin cases Panasonic use mean they are also easier to store, taking up less space in storage boxes. The only drawback is that the cost of dvd-rams tends to be quite high and Panasonic is no exception and being Panasonic slightly higher than most. In spite of the cost they are my first choice which I use when ever I can obtain them.
