Top of the range in customisation and performance
What makes a good computer mouse is very personal, so it's worth taking what I'm about to say with a grain of salt. Which is that it's probably the best commercially available mouse.
It's a perfect fit for my hand, partially because of the adjustable palm rest and partially the only mouse I know with a pinky rest, and that makes it more comfortable than anything else I've tried.
The mouse is just insanely customizable, and performance is great, it's light, precise, and little to no noticeable friction. I'm using it both for work and games (mostly FPS).
I have used it for about a month now, and no issues but due to a high part count and complex design be aware that some Mad Catz mice have reliability issues.
Is it good value? Hard to say, but for me it's simply the best on the market, and with usage 8 hours a day that's worth the high price tag.
