mixed language
josh groban has a beautiful voice, for sure; but his choice of language leaves something to be desired..i think he would have more english speaking fans if he did not persist in doing at least half of his songs in languages that are not well known to the general public...

supremely enjoyable..
am a fan of patrick wilson who appears on this recording..the soprano who sings here is inconsistent in her approach,sometimes elegant and light and at other times more dramatic,depending on who she is singing with..it's a good thing..

amateur performance
as there was no description of the choir which was performing on this cd, i did not know that it was trebles only and not a mixed choir..the group sings very badly in any language but german and their interpretation is wholly without expression, just a choppy metronomic boring performance; a discredit to the composers which were the reason for my purchase.
