Well worth the time to study. and locate the important generals in the Confederate Army
Great Book for the money. I am a Civil War writer. The book offers great info on many generals. Thanks

I feel a better title would have been "A Photographic History of the Civil War"...
The book is good, BUT the majority of the content is photos, not written statements and conclusions. If one is seeking cause & results, I did not see it in my search. Yet, this is a very worthwhile search for information. There are photos, and comments that will draw one's attention and this alone is worth the read.

I would think the title is accurate. It states what the book intends to reveal to the reader.
The book is well written and defines Lee as he probably was. It is a long read, and in places boring, BUT, this is true in most books concerning high -light people. It's never as you think it should have been. Nevertheless, the-book is worth the time.
