Think twice!
0 of 1 found this helpful Ive been debating over getting a shock collar for a few months now. Ive always been against them, UNTIL, i received a HARD HARD HEADED BULLDOG. Never used one before so i was pretty nervous about using it on my dog. (Even though i do believe she's Satin's spawn) The sound or vibration didnt even phase her. So, i decided after having it a couple of weeks to use the shock setting. OMG!!! you would of thought i killed her. She bow wowd like it was the absolute worst thing in this world!!! (On the lowest setting.) I just dont know about this. Im not out to torture my dog. It had me so upset. Its now off of her. It does all that it says, but just dont think i can do it again to her.
Just so you know, i had it on lowest setting possible, & i DID test it on myself a few times on different levels. It did not hurt at all. Not in the least. I also, have had her tried to be trained by myself, & three different trainers too before purchasing this.
I got her from another person who could not handle her. Ive had her for a little over a year. Shes two n half now. I'm at the end of my rope! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
