Surprisingly well performed given its age
With an SSD this machine performs as well as a more recent and considerably more expensive Mac. You can't go higher than 10.11 (El Capitan), which is two major releases back, but for day to day tasks this machine rocks. It has four hard drive bays, two gigabit ethernet ports, two optical audio ports, plenty of USB-A ports and can take up to 32GB of RAM. What's not to like? If you want a highly versatile and customisable Mac and aren't bothered about having the latest and greatest version of macOS, you won't go wrong with an old Mac Pro.

Tamiya quality is reliable.
Tamiya kits are best for detail and the way parts fit.
Not much else worth saying really.

The usual Apple quality
A lovely little machine. I'm very happy with it.
A tip for other buyers - it can be a bit flaky with wifi. If you turn Bluetooth off it gets much better. Also, go to System Preferences Network Wifi Advanced and change IPv6 from Auto to 'local link only'.
