Excellent value and great machine
1 of 1 found this helpful This is my second Pfaff sewing machine. I use them both for general sewing and quilting. I had the man who services my machines (I have 9 machines including a long-arm quilter and a Consew upholstering machine) look at this machine after I purchased it. He said this Pfaff was built between 1952 and 1962. He said it was in great shape and did not need anything done to it at this time. It sews better than my newer machines. I regularly sew through 3 layers when quilting, and this Pfaff sews smoothly without skipping. The only thing that I found wrong is that the foot pedal sticks on occasion (not often). I told this to the man who works on my machine who said it would be an easy fix if it gets worse. This is the first sewing machine that I purchased through ebay, and I would definitely use ebay again!!
