Buy the better model
1 of 1 found this helpful This is adequate and gives good results but it's better to get the better model which has a quick release anti jam facility if doing a lot of laminating.

Incorrect material used in manufacture
1 of 1 found this helpful These do seem to work but unfortunately they are of POOR QUALITY and fall to bits after a very short time (a few weeks ]I have complained to the company at least 3 times and have had replacements sent free of charge twice ,
Altogether I have had 8 of these supplied over about two years and they have ALL FALLEN TO PIECES within a few weeks ---RUBBISH !!!!.
They should be made of a different material- a pair of old polyester underpants would last longer than these do !!!!
The company said they had a batch which had not been UV stabised but the replacements I received were sent over e year apart !!

This is excellent-,well made and good value -ideal as a bedside reading light--really bright -does not get hot
