Buy glass from a shop.
A small shell-like chip inside the base of the bowel which was not in the description. Looks okay at 6 feet away. Okay decoration piece but nothing else. Sceptical about ordering glass over the internet again. It would be more appropriate to visit an antique's shop then you can see the object and get a feel for the quality and inspect for any damage.
