Easy setup for faster Mac
I've set up two Akitio Nodes, each with a GTX 1080 Ti, in an iMac running Cinema 4D with Redshift. Very easy to setup and I'm NOT a hardware nerd in any way. Many people will tell you to get a PC and use the GPUs internally because of cost/effect ratio, but for me it's worth a drop in performance to be able to stay in MacOS.
The fans are a bit noisy. I've bought new fans, but most fans have 3-pin connectors, but the Akitio needs a 2-pin, so I'll need an adapter.
